Amin Yap & Co.’s experience in property matters is extensive and includes advising on conveyancing, sale & purchase of, and property development for, blue-chip companies listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange such as IJM Properties, Landmarks Land and Properties, Fraser & Neave, and Petaling Garden Berhad.

We are also especially proud of our specializing in advising public listed companies on the requirements of the KLSE, listing applications and debt securities. Amin Yap & Co. has the honour of being the first law firm in Malaysia to advise on and complete the first transaction on e-commerce for our clients with MSC Venture Sdn Bhd, the venture capital arm of the Malaysian Government specializing in e-commerce business. Amin Yap & Co. has also advised on the listing of Genting International Limited on SGX in 2005 and acted for Resorts World Berhad and e-Genting on numerous transactions.

Our areas of expertise also include advising on the highly specialized field of aviation law, including acting for Airod, making us one of the few firms specializing in this area of the law.

Our international dealings include being part of an international team assisting and advising on a multi-billion dollar property development project in Abu Dhabi and advising Airod on a joint venture in New York on aircraft landing gear services.

As part of our service to the nation, our Managing Partner is the head of UMNO’s panel of lawyers, a position we currently maintain.
